Keto Trail Mix
A crunchy no-bake mix of nuts, seeds, coconut flakes, and sugar-free chocolate. Portion it into bags for a portable keto snack that curbs the munchies.
Trail mix without the sugar bomb
Store-bought trail mix is a trap: dried fruit, candy-coated chocolate, and sweetened yogurt chips can pack more sugar than a candy bar. Building your own puts you back in control of the carbs.
This version leans on low-carb nuts and seeds, unsweetened coconut flakes for chew, and sugar-free chocolate chips for a little indulgence. Mix a big batch and pre-portion it so you always have a keto snack on hand.
- Pick the lowest-carb nuts like pecans and macadamias
- Skip the dried fruit, which spikes the carb count fast
- Portion into single servings to avoid overeating

Recipe FAQ
Why not add dried fruit like the store versions?
Dried fruit is extremely concentrated in sugar, and even a small handful can add ten or more carbs. Leaving it out is what keeps this mix under five net carbs a serving.
Can I toast the nuts first?
Yes, and it deepens the flavor. Toast them in a dry skillet or a 300 degree oven for about 8 minutes, cool completely, then mix in the chocolate chips so they do not melt.
