Privacy Policy

KarbZilla(“we”, “us”) publishes keto and low-carb recipes, guides, food data, and free tools at karbzilla.com. This policy explains what we do, and don’t do, with your information. We’ve tried to keep it short and readable.

The short version

• We don’t ask you to create an account.
• We currently don’t collect email addresses or run a newsletter.
• Our free tools (Keto Day Builder, Is My Meal Keto?) run entirely in your browser, what you type stays on your device and is never sent to us.
• We don’t sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Only if you email us directly, in which case we receive your email address and whatever you write, used solely to reply.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, to serve the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you.

Tool inputs. The ingredients or meals you enter into our tools are processed locally in your browser to compute results. They are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Cookies

We do not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes, for example when we introduce display advertising, we’ll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Analytics & advertising

We do not run third-party analytics or advertising at this time. When we add measurement or advertising partners in the future, they may collect usage data and set cookies subject to a consent banner (GDPR/CCPA), and we’ll describe them here before turning them on.

Third-party services

• Vercel, hosting and content delivery (processes request logs).
• Sanity, content management (stores our articles, not visitor data).
• Google Search Console, helps us understand how the site appears in search. It does not place cookies on your device through our site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability (GDPR). If you are a California resident, you may request access to or deletion of your personal information and are entitled not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights (CCPA/CPRA). Since we hold very little personal data, most of these requests are straightforward, email us and we’ll help.

Children

KarbZilla is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, make it prominent on the site.
